Welcome to Peedya. By browsing this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About us

Peedya is an online store based in Kerala, India. You can reach us at peedya.in@gmail.com.

2. Using the site

• You must be 18 or older, or use the site with a parent or guardian's supervision.
• Give accurate information when you create an account or place an order, and keep your login details private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Do not misuse the site: no hacking, scraping, fraud, uploading harmful code, or attempting to access admin areas.

3. Products and pricing

• We try to show product photos, descriptions and prices accurately. Colours may look slightly different on different screens.
• All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• Prices and availability can change without notice. If a product is marked sold out, it cannot be ordered.
• If a price or description was clearly shown in error, we may cancel the order and refund anything you paid.

4. Orders

• Placing an order is an offer to buy. An order is confirmed when we accept it in your account or contact you to confirm.
• We may decline or cancel an order for reasons such as stock issues, an unserviceable address, suspected fraud or pricing errors. If you already paid, we will refund you.
• You can follow your order status in your account.

5. Payment

Each product shows how it can be paid for: Cash on Delivery, UPI / Card (online payment), or both. Some products may accept online payment only. Online payments are collected by Peedya at checkout. For Cash on Delivery, please keep the exact amount ready when your order arrives. Repeated refused deliveries may lead us to restrict your account from Cash on Delivery.

6. Shipping and delivery

• We deliver across India where our courier partners operate. Delivery times shown are estimates, not guarantees.
• Delivery is free on orders above ₹999; a delivery charge may apply on smaller orders and is shown at checkout.
• Please provide a complete, correct address and a phone number we can reach. Delays caused by wrong details or an unreachable number are not our responsibility.

7. Returns, replacements and refunds

• Please check your parcel when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective or not what you ordered, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order details and photos.
• Eligible items can be replaced or refunded after we verify the issue. Items should be unused and in original packaging.
• Approved refunds are returned using the original payment method, or by bank or UPI transfer for Cash on Delivery orders, within a reasonable time after we receive and check the item.
• Personalised or customised items cannot be returned unless they arrive damaged or incorrect.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site, including the Peedya name, logo, text, graphics and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Peedya is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site or products. Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

10. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the date it is posted, so please check back occasionally. Orders already placed are covered by the terms in force when you ordered.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kerala, India.

13. Sellers

• Anyone can apply for a seller account. Every product a seller adds, or changes, is reviewed by Peedya and goes live in the store only after it is approved. We may reject, hide or remove any product, or suspend a seller account, if it breaks these terms or the law.
• Sellers must give true details, list only genuine products they are allowed to sell, keep prices, sizes, colours and stock up to date, and ship confirmed orders on time.
• Sellers may not set or change product ratings, reviews or store placement; these are managed by Peedya. Sellers also cannot create new categories.
• Payouts are made by Peedya to the UPI ID or bank account saved in the seller's account.
